Confitura: Brewing Java Excellence Since 2007

Confitura isn’t just a software conference; it’s a cornerstone of the Polish IT community. Founded by Java enthusiasts back in 2007, it has grown to become one of Poland’s biggest and longest-running tech events. Here, Polish and international IT pros gather to share insights, swap war stories, and network—not just during sessions but over coffee breaks too.

Born as a passion project of the Warsaw Java User Group (the second-oldest JUG in Poland), Confitura quickly paved its own way. Today, it’s powered by a spirited crew of developers, architects, and tech evangelists. Yet, one thing remains unchanged: it’s a conference made by and for the Polish IT community.

Our mission? To democratize knowledge. Whether you’re a greenhorn just starting your journey or a seasoned executive, we believe everyone deserves the chance to learn and grow. That’s why we’ve kept Confitura accessible and affordable—because knowledge shouldn’t come with a hefty price tag.

Aktualnie architekt java i pl/sql. ;)

Brain Change Continental

In 2017, a decade after the inaugural Javarsovia conference, we recognized it was time to give the business side of the event the structure it deserved.

Naming the company was an effortless decision—it was drawn directly from the business featured in our 2016 promo video, Brain Change Continental. If you haven’t seen it yet, take a closer look—you might catch a few familiar faces in minor roles.

Since then, BCC has been handling the financial and legal operations of Confitura, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
